Navaratnalu Schemes: Andhra Pradesh State government has released the nine (9) Government schemes, there are nine schemes, which are implemented in a pilot project. AP scheme list is released during the election manifesto. State Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has responsibility for the implementation of 9 schemes.

These nine schemes are called a navaratnalu (Which means Nine schemes in English). Each scheme describes the specific use and financial support for the below poverty line BPL people. If you have a white ration card and are below 3 lakhs annual income then you are eligible for the navaratnalu schemes.

Navaratnalu Schemes

  1. YSR Rythu Bharosa
  2. Fee Reimbursement. Youth Employment, and Job Creation
  3. Arogyasri
  4. YSR Jalayagnam
  5. Ban on Alcohol
  6. Amma Vodi
  7. YSR Asara / YSR Cheyutha
  8. House for Poor (Paydalandariki Illu)
  9. Pension enhancement (Pension Pempu)

YSR Rythu Bharosa

  • Should be a farmer of AP state.
  • Yearly 50,000 amount is transferred to a farmer’s bank account for every quarter (3 months once).
  • A free borewell is provided.
  • 9 hours of free electricity are provided.
  • Interesting free bank loans on agriculture is provided and crop insurance is provided for emergency cases If a farmer loses a crop in natural disaster cases.
  • 7 lakh YSR Bhima coverage is provided in case of accidental death to a farmer’s family.

AP Fee Reimbursement

  • Education is completely free in the AP state from LKG to PG level.
  • 20,000 annually provided for the student in addition to fee reimbursement.
  • Hostel fee, Food/mess, loading fee, and monthly scholarship is provided.

ArogyaSri

  • In AP state, Arogyasri covers health insurance up to 5 lakhs per annum.
  • Arogyasri covers the medical expenses for a minimum Rs.1,000/-
  • Rs.10,000/- pension amount will be awarded on monthly basis for Kidney, Thalassemia, and perineal diseases patients.
  • Arogyasri is applicable only at AP state private and multi-specility hospitals.

YSR jalayagnam

  • Under this scheme, the dream projects for the YSR have to be completed.
  • AP Dream Projects are Polavaram, Poolasubbayya, and Veligonda which are finished on pilot projects.
  • The aim of the YSR jalayagam is to provide complete drinking water across the state.

Ban on Alcohol

  • As per the AP chief minister’s announcement, alcohol is limited and banned in three stages.
  • Alcohol is limited to 5-star hotels as per the govt instructions.
  • Liquor is banned under local governance and state governance.

YSR Asara / YSR Cheyutha

YSR Cheyutha is a women’s empowerment under the reservation, BC, SC, ST, and minority women will get the financial support for the women cooperative societies.

Loans are provided under the low margin interest rates and repaid at low installment rates.

For Groups, Rs.75,000 will be provided for first-years for above said reserved and minority women.

Women age should be above 45 years

Zero (0%) interest will be added to remove the burden of interest rates.

Amma Vodi

The financial support is provided for the children who are enrolled in any Govt and private schools in Andhra Pradesh State. The financial amount is bank transferred to the children’s mother.

Total financial assistance – Rs.15,000/- for education and school kits.

In every new academic year, the children’s mothers get the amount directly from the State Govt as per the eligibility criteria norms matches.

Old Age Pensions / Senior Citizens Pension

As per the new AP state govt rules, the pension age is decreased from 65 years to 60 years.

The pension amount is increased from Rs.2500/- to Rs.3000/- per month.

Only senior old age as per the age criteria – 60 years, the amount will be transferred to the bank account, there is no mediator and no fraud in it.

For both old age and Physically abled persons will receive Rs.3000/- per month in the bank account.

House for All Poor

As per the YSR new Govt, new houses are constructing for the poor people, which are eligible as per the instructions, which are;

  • Should be in the BPL category
  • Should be native of AP state.

25 lakhs houses are constructed across the AP state within the 5 years.

Eligible persons can register with the near concerned department along with requested documents.
