SarvapalliRadhakrishnan was the second president of India. He was elected as a president on 1962.He started office 13 may, 1962 and left office on 13 may 1967. He was a great philosopher and writer. Zakir Husain was the 3rd president of India. He was elected as a president from 1967.Another eminent scholar and educationist, Zakir Husain stepped into the footsteps of S. Radhakrishnan He started his working at 13 may, 1967 and left office 3rd may 1969.Hussain was vice chancellor of the Aligarh Muslim University and a recipient of Padma Vibhushan and Bharat Ratna.He was also the shortest-serving President.He died in office, the first to do so. Neelam Sanjiva Reddy was the 6th president of India. He was the first CM of Andhra Pradesh state and also had served as the Speaker of Lok Sabha. N S Reddy was another famous freedom fighter and inspiring revolutionist from southern India.
